What is the turning rate of the Cessna 172 aircraft?
A Cessna 172 will turn at standard rate (3 degree per second) with 15-16 degrees of bank. A pilot may increase this bank angel to 60 degrees and get through a 360 degree turn in 15-20 seconds. I never really timed it, since this is a maneuver that requires full attention.
